Students Ending Rape Culture

Students Ending Rape Culture (SERC) is a registered student organization that seeks to educate the campus community about sexual violence, raise visibility of rape culture, and support and empower survivors of interpersonal violence. 

Help us Create a Culture of Consent!

SERC members work together to equip the campus community with the knowledge and tools necessary to recognize and interrupt situations which perpetuate rape culture (i.e., a culture where sexual violence is normalized, trivialized, and rationalized).

SERC Members:

  • Support and empower survivors of sexual violence
  • Raise awareness, and discredit myths and misinformation¬†
  • Challenge the root causes of violence embedded in our culture

How to become a Member:

  1. Submit our online application form.
  2. Request to be a member of SERC by visiting our page in Redbird Life.
  3. Follow our social media channels (below) for upcoming events and continued updates.

Note: SERC meetings are held every Thursday from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Please keep this time available in your schedule.
