Announcing the LIVE WELL with EIGHT at STATE program.
The Well-being Community of Practice units, Campus Recreation, Health Promotion and Wellness, Student Counseling Services, and Student Health Services, unveiled the EIGHT at STATE campaign aimed at strengthening the commitment to further health and well-being for the Illinois State University campus community. There is much excitement about this initiative and several anchor programs aligned with the EIGHT at STATE campaign are in development.
LIVE WELL with EIGHT at STATE is a free incentive-based program supporting Illinois State University students, staff, and faculty. The EIGHT at STATE initiative emphasizes a holistic approach to well-being through the focus on eight dimensions of wellness: emotional, environmental, financial, intellectual, physical, social, spiritual, and vocational.
Engaging with LIVE WELL is simple—participants will track day to day activities that align with one or more of the eight dimensions over the course of the program. Activities entered accrue points and participants become eligible to win prizes. Receive a free LIVE WELL shirt after entering your first ten activities.
Paper copies of the wellness assessments are available upon request.
