Lifestyle Enhancement classes aim to support staff and faculty of ISU, their spouses/partners, retirees of ISU and ISU Alums. Most of the programs are held conveniently during the workday to provide greater access to opportunities that advance the personal wellness of faculty and staff.
The Lifestyle Enhancement program is just one of the ways Health Promotion and Wellness supports the well-being of staff and faculty.
Balanced Bellies and Backs, Yoga, and T'ai Chi classes will be offered for the Fall 2022 session. A $60 fee is associated with participation in these classes. Fees will be processed online through the Health Promotion and Wellness uStore. Employees of ISU may also have the fees processed through payroll deduction. Cash and personal checks are no longer accepted
The Fall 2022 session runs from August 22nd through December 22nd, 2022 with no classes being held the week of Thanksgiving, November 21st - 25th, 2022.
Registration is now available. Please contact Michelle Starkey with any questions.
Since 1984 Illinois State University has offered a Wellness Participation Policy because the Institution values it's staff and faculty. Employees may request up to 90 minutes per week to participate in activities that improve their well-being. For further details read the policy link below.
