Blood Chemistry & Cholesterol Screening

Knowing your blood chemistry and cholesterol levels is crucial to examining your risk for heart disease and overall wellness. Health Promotion and Wellness partners with Student Health Services to offer screenings on campus as a convenience to the campus community. Those participating in these screenings should make arrangements to share and discuss results with their personal healthcare provider. Paperwork will be provided.

Screenings are offered once per year and the draws are performed by the Student Health Services (SHS) Laboratory staff. Payment is expected at the time of service, including an $11 SHS front door fee, as well as the fee for the test/s. Results are mailed to your residence/department as well as your identified healthcare provider.

The following tests are available:

Chemistry Panel - $35.00 and Lipid Profile - $35.00
