Every two years, Health Promotion and Wellness administers the Health Status Survey to faculty and staff as well as graduate and post-doc students. The first Health Status survey was conducted in 2011. It is one type of needs assessment that is used to collect data about the health behaviors, beliefs, and interests on campus. The Health Status Survey also asks questions to help identify health issues that have the biggest impact on work performance. The survey is implemented during the fall semester every to years to help monitor trends and guide program planning for the institution to address faculty and staff wellness needs.
