Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughout the semester and on Wednesdays during the summer. Please log onto the online registration system to see available appointment dates and times. Please note that massage appointments are locked 24 hours prior to service.

Family Bowling

Saturday, November 5
Three 90-minute time slots at 1, 2:30, & 4 p.m.
Bowling at the Illinois State Bowling and Billiards Center is held during the fall the semester. This family activity is free of charge and families may register for 1 lane/ time frame. Time frame for bowling is offered in 90 minute increments between the hours of 1:00 and 5:30 p.m. on the scheduled date. Registration required.

 

Family Day at the Children's Discovery Museum

We are excited to invite you and your immediate family members to share an afternoon at the Children's Discovery Museum in Uptown Normal. This family activity is held during spring semester each year and the first 125 participants to register may enter free of charge.

Mindfulness Classes

Koru Mindfulness Class is a free four week course that helps you learn about and practice various mindfulness and meditation techniques that can improve sleep; reduce stress and anxiety; improve focus, academic performance, and eating behaviors; and contribute to a greater sense of well-being and overall happiness. This is a free class, but space is limited. Sign up through the online registration system.

Living with a positive outlook in today?s society can take a lot of practice! Mindfulness meditation, breathing techniques, and journaling exercises will be utilized during this seven week course (March 17-April 28). Attendees will be encouraged to participate in the exercises during each session, and then continue the practice on their own. Attendees will then have the opportunity to talk about their experiences and through this discussion, help each other bring the practice of mindfulness out of our classroom setting and into daily life. Working Moms Chat 'n Chew

McAlister's Private Dining Room, Bone Student Center

Join your fellow working moms for lunch and share tips, ask questions, and lend support in a confidential environment. Discussion is facilitated around topics of interest. The group meets on Fridays in the Private Dining Room of McAlister’s from Noon to 1 p.m. Lunch is not provided, but feel free to bring yours with you. Registration appreciated.
